  LIVING WTH VISION Proverbs 29:17-25  Devotional:- “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (v. 18) KJV People may not be able to enjoy the best of God’s love until they live with a vision. God only releases provision for a vision. If you have your vision of life, and you are ready to pursue it, then you can be too sure of a glorious tomorrow. This is because God will do everything to see to the fulfilment of your vision. All God-given visions are capable of building a great destiny. Vision is an insight into the plan and programme of God for your life. Since it has to do with insight, it can only be revealed or unfolded. So it will take waiting on the Lord to receive the revelation of God concerning your life (Habakkuk 2:1). Waiting here simply means consciously standing in God’s presence to see into His mind for you. God’s vision for His children are in dieverse ways. GREATER WORKS    

John 14:12-21
Devotional – "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (v. 12)


    As citizens of the kingdom of God, it is expected of us to do greater works on the earth. Greater works here means, doing more than Jesus did on earth. This could be both in quality and in quantity. Let us not forget the purpose of our work on earth. It is to bring glory to the Lord who we are representing on the earth (Matthew 5:16).

In our scripture today, Jesus spell out how it will be possible for us to be able to do greater works than what He does. It is because He goes to the father. He said to the disciples that it was for their benefit He goes to be with the father.

It is because He has gone to be with the father that He releases the Holy Spirit to abide with us. He interceded for us before the father.  We have more time and opportunity to work more and to achieve more for the glory of God.  That is why we should take advantage of the Spirit of God in us, the word of God and the brethren around us for greater works in our lives. And we will enjoy the great blessing of the power of God. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me by your Spirit for greater works.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
