  OVERFLOWING PROSPERITY Zechariah 1:13-21 Devotional:- “Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem'"” (V.17) NKJV At the end of the year, God intends to prosper and supply you with great and pleasant riches (Psalms 65:11). When someone is not prospering in life, everything about him will look odd. When a person is not prosperous, there are so many things responsible. It might be that he is not working in God’s knowledge and understanding; it could also be that he is not working in God’s covenant. This is paying your tithe, offering, blessing the poor, and taking care of your parent, children and men of God. It could also be that he is not faithful to his staff. GREATER WORKS    

John 14:12-21
Devotional – "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (v. 12)


    As citizens of the kingdom of God, it is expected of us to do greater works on the earth. Greater works here means, doing more than Jesus did on earth. This could be both in quality and in quantity. Let us not forget the purpose of our work on earth. It is to bring glory to the Lord who we are representing on the earth (Matthew 5:16).

In our scripture today, Jesus spell out how it will be possible for us to be able to do greater works than what He does. It is because He goes to the father. He said to the disciples that it was for their benefit He goes to be with the father.

It is because He has gone to be with the father that He releases the Holy Spirit to abide with us. He interceded for us before the father.  We have more time and opportunity to work more and to achieve more for the glory of God.  That is why we should take advantage of the Spirit of God in us, the word of God and the brethren around us for greater works in our lives. And we will enjoy the great blessing of the power of God. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me by your Spirit for greater works.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
