SERVING WITH JOY Deuteronomy 28:47-52 Devotional:- “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything” (V.47) NKJV A greater percentage of people do not know what stops their glory. They just suddenly discover that things just stop working out for them. In their ignorance, they accuse God and the devil for their predicament. You need to know from now that one of the things responsible is when people don’t serve with joy. People are always in haste to expect reward for their service. When it looks delayed, they begin to serve with grudges in their mind. God told the Israelites that if they did not serve God with a joyful heart, they would serve their enemy. This is actually too grievous, but men are also not always understanding. Something in us always looks so high that we don’t see what the Lord is doing, but we will always see what he has not done. TENACITY

Hebrews 6:9-12
Devotional: "And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,” (V. 11)


    One thing that makes a work succeed at last is our ability to stay with the work either thin or thick. Desperate people may not be able to establish anything serious. There is nothing that will stand at last if there is no one to stay and face it squarely.

 In the scripture we read today, the Bible teaches us to show the same diligent to the end. This is because most business starts with great enthusiasm and expectations. But hope deferred wearies the soul (Proverbs 13:12). There is a need to learn the wisdom of staying till it works. Every great story has a place of endurance. The word of God said we should work with faith and patience (Hebrews 6:12).

Friend, refuse to give up on your work, hold tightly to your assignments. Nothing good comes easily. If you discover you are not made for a work don’t deceive yourself, you can make a change. Be determined to build greatness through what you do. Greatness does not come overnight. Refuse to give up and refuse to give in. Be determined to make it in life. And grace will see you through. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to stay to the end to get the best.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.
