  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. TENACITY

Hebrews 6:9-12
Devotional: "And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,” (V. 11)


    One thing that makes a work succeed at last is our ability to stay with the work either thin or thick. Desperate people may not be able to establish anything serious. There is nothing that will stand at last if there is no one to stay and face it squarely.

 In the scripture we read today, the Bible teaches us to show the same diligent to the end. This is because most business starts with great enthusiasm and expectations. But hope deferred wearies the soul (Proverbs 13:12). There is a need to learn the wisdom of staying till it works. Every great story has a place of endurance. The word of God said we should work with faith and patience (Hebrews 6:12).

Friend, refuse to give up on your work, hold tightly to your assignments. Nothing good comes easily. If you discover you are not made for a work don’t deceive yourself, you can make a change. Be determined to build greatness through what you do. Greatness does not come overnight. Refuse to give up and refuse to give in. Be determined to make it in life. And grace will see you through. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to stay to the end to get the best.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
