  JOY IN PRAYERS I Samuel 2:1-10 Devotional:- “And Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.” (V. 1) NKJV We often fall into depression when we look around us, and all we see are unanswered prayers. It becomes worse when you are despised and mocked for that thing that you are looking up to God for. Hannah was like that, a depressed and unhappy woman. What was Hannah’s secret that made her proclaim to all that “my heart rejoices in the Lord”? 1. She decided to look away from her oppressor 2. She went to God in prayer, pouring her sorrow to God.  3. She made a vow to give God the child 4. She left the presence of God, believing God answers prayer. Hannah made good her vow, and her joy was full. Are you depressed? Pour your heart to God, make a vow to him, and you will see him answer your prayers and your joy will Come. Hebrews 6:9-12
Devotional: "And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,” (V. 11)


    One thing that makes a work succeed at last is our ability to stay with the work either thin or thick. Desperate people may not be able to establish anything serious. There is nothing that will stand at last if there is no one to stay and face it squarely.

 In the scripture we read today, the Bible teaches us to show the same diligent to the end. This is because most business starts with great enthusiasm and expectations. But hope deferred wearies the soul (Proverbs 13:12). There is a need to learn the wisdom of staying till it works. Every great story has a place of endurance. The word of God said we should work with faith and patience (Hebrews 6:12).

Friend, refuse to give up on your work, hold tightly to your assignments. Nothing good comes easily. If you discover you are not made for a work don’t deceive yourself, you can make a change. Be determined to build greatness through what you do. Greatness does not come overnight. Refuse to give up and refuse to give in. Be determined to make it in life. And grace will see you through. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to stay to the end to get the best.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
