To be contented in God means to be happy with whatever God has provided for you per time. Not willing to get things done in an ungodly way because of selfish ambition. To such people when it is ungodly, count them out. There are so many shortcuts the devil will always introduce for the unconscious covenant trap of people. That is why we must exercise Godly contentment. This does not mean you should be satisfied and settle for little at you...

Ephesians 6:6-9
Devotional: "with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,” (V. 7)


   Remember the purpose of your working is that God might be glorified (Matthew 5:16). That is why your work must be good enough for the glory of God. Every kingdom citizen should be mindful of this. Our work in the office must not bring shame and dishonour to the Lord. Thank God for the salary, but your purpose in that office is far bigger than that.

The scripture we read today is very instructive on how we should work in our offices. Firstly, is that our work should be unto the Lord. That is, we are representative of God in that organization and it is on to the Lord we should be responsible. That is why we must submit to men in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:21, Colossians 3:22).That is why your take home pay must be more than salary.

Secondly, we are instructed to serve not with eye service but a heart service. That is, doing our services with all enthusiasm. Putting our best into the work to provoke the blessings of God on the work and our lives like Jacob in the house of Laban (Genesis 30:30). Working with our mind and taking initiative for innovation. Not allowing discouragement but serving with joy. Hereby creating the atmosphere for the presence of God in that organization. Interceding for her progress by the Spirit of unity in the office. Then, heaven cannot fail to reward us. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me a pace setter in my office for your glory.

You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
