That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. TRIAL TIMES

TRIAL TIMES

James 1:12-20
Dev:- “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (V. 19)

There is a need to learn from the word of God what to do to manage the trial times. God expect us to use our trial times to grow and overcome but not to be a victim. If you will come out victoriously after a trail times then let us learn the wisdom thought in the word of God.

The first is to realize that victory over trial brings us into promotion of strength, wisdom and grace. That is why we must not give in (James 1:12). The second is that we realize that God is not the source of most of the trial times in our lives. Trial times are always a product of our weaknesses. This will help us admit our weaknesses and repent before the Lord (James 1:13-15).

In trial times we must learn to be more teachable to gain strength. Not boasting to know but slow to give judgments (Proverbs 14:27, Proverbs 16:32, Ecclesiastic 7:9). This is when to return to obey the Lord (Hosea 6:1). And we shall be restored. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me grace to use trial times for my promotions
