STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

LIVING BY FAITH

LIVING BY FAITH

Romans 1:16-28
Dev:-  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith" (Vs. 17)

Consecration to the Lord demands that we learn to live by faith. This is because the God of this kingdom is a Spirit and it will demand faith to walk with Him (John 4:24). To live by faith is more disturbing to a natural mind who wants to live by what he/she sees. God’s word says we do not live by sight but by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7).

To live by faith is to depend upon the promises of the word of God in the mist of situations. To live by faith is to take the energy of life from the word of God (Psalm 119:97-100). It is to make God the source of our confidence and courage (Psalms 20:6-8). It is to make God your hope and expectation (Psalms 62:5). It is to depend on God for solutions in time of challenges.

God’s word says those who trust in the Lord shall not be put to shame (Romans 9:23). When men don't want to live by faith in God, they will have to turn to ungodly ways in times of tribulations and trials. So make up your mind to live by faith. And God will not allow you to be put to shame. When you have any need turn to your God for directions and obey Him. And your life will always be a testimony.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to always live by faith.

“LIVING BY FAITH KEEPS YOU IN THE WAY OF THE LORD”
