MY REFUGE

MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge. SERVING THE LORD

SERVING THE LORD

Exodus 23:20-29
Dev:- "So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. (Vs. 25)

To consecrate our life to God as citizens of the kingdom of God we must serve the Lord. It is important we understand that God created us that we might serve Him. We are here to fulfill the agenda of heaven. But a lot of people are affected by the deceitfulness of money and pleasure of this world and do not bother to serve God (Mark 4:19)

The truth is that if anyone do not serve the Lord, he will serve the devil. He will help to build the kingdom of the devil unknowingly. (Deuteronomy 28:47-48) There is nothing we need in this world that God cannot give us. The devil always deceive man to think he cannot make it through God. The trouble in the life of most Christian is our laziness, especially mental laziness. So we expect God to do everything for us without taking mental responsibility to plan and work with discipline to achieve our plans.

Friend, no matter your type of work, please serve the Lord. He is the one who can protect and preserve your life. Find out your gifts and special abilities and use them to serve God. Many of great people also do. You cannot be consecrated to the Lord when you have no time to serve Him. We are created for this purpose. You are promoted and protected for this purpose. We shall be rewarded in eternity for our service to God. (2 Corinthians 5:10). Peace!

Prayer: Lord help me to be useful for you all my life

“IF YOU ARE NOT SERVING THE LORD, YOU ARE SERVING THE DEVIL”
