  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. Proverbs 3:1-10
Devotional:- “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (v. 6)


    The word of God says as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). The word of God says the steps of the upright are guided by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). If a man is not been led by the Lord, then, he will be led by his own limited mind, influenced by the flesh. That is why everyone who have consecrated themselves to the Lord should wait to always be led by the Lord.

 To be led by the Lord demand that we fear the Lord and not just order our own steps (Psalm 25:9). To be led by the Lord, demand that we wait for Him and wait on Him. That is to wait for Him and we don’t take our actions till we have heard from the Lord. To wait on the Lord means, we set ourselves in position to hear His voice.

Friend, if God is not leading you, how can you get to heaven? You cannot be consecrated to God till He takes the control of your life. To be led by God, you must acknowledge God. That is recognizing Him to ask for His leading always. And you will be guided to His will always.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always remember to ask for your leading always.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
