  MERCY Romans 9:14-27 Devotional:- “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy” (V 16) NKJV It has often been completely impossible for any human to qualify for the things of God. This is the reason why the world looks like a place of struggle for so many people. Even many Old Testament saints couldn’t make it because of their inadequacies. For Example, if anyone had not achieved their goal on earth. I would least expect a man like Moses to be one. But because he could not fully obey the Lord, he and Aaron could not get to the Promised Land. But you and I in the New Testament have come to enjoy the abundance of the mercy of God. In the scripture we read today, Jesus said, He would have mercy on us. We are the one the bible refers to as the chosen generation. We are the people of His mercy. This is an assurance that we, by His grace, will achieve our purpose on earth, for His mercy shall see us through. The trouble in the life of our paren...

GODLY CONTENTMENT

1Timothy 6:3-10
Devotional:- “Now godliness with contentment is great gain” (v. 6)


     A virus that can corrupt the right Spirit in a man is greed. This is an intense and selfish desire for wealth or food. This virus is a product of people thinking that they are lacking and money is all they need to succeed. People needs to be told that even when they get money, without sitting down to plan and labour there will be no success. So the idea of “money is all you need” is not true. There is no amount of money that cannot finish but true success create succession

The scripture we read today says, godliness with contentment is a great gain. Which means you have more gain of life when you live without the bad habit of greed. It has destroy many great people. The gain of godly contentment varies from integrity, rest of mind, health, good relationship, connection to the great, freedom, confidence before people and more. 

Please understand that all these gains of contentment are also means of exchange like money. They are even more valuable or richer than money. Paul said “I have learnt to abound and to abased (Philippians 4:12). You must learn the same. That is when God will begin to bless you abundantly. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the virus call greed

UNTIL MONEY IS NOTHING BUT A PROFIT TO YOU, THEN YOU MAY NOT REALY START YOUR CHRISTIAN JOURNEY

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
