  LIVING WTH VISION Proverbs 29:17-25  Devotional:- “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (v. 18) KJV People may not be able to enjoy the best of God’s love until they live with a vision. God only releases provision for a vision. If you have your vision of life, and you are ready to pursue it, then you can be too sure of a glorious tomorrow. This is because God will do everything to see to the fulfilment of your vision. All God-given visions are capable of building a great destiny. Vision is an insight into the plan and programme of God for your life. Since it has to do with insight, it can only be revealed or unfolded. So it will take waiting on the Lord to receive the revelation of God concerning your life (Habakkuk 2:1). Waiting here simply means consciously standing in God’s presence to see into His mind for you. God’s vision for His children are in dieverse ways. SACRIFICIAL LIFE

SACRIFICIAL LIFE

Romans 12:1-5 
Dev:- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (v. 1)


    For us to be consecrated to the Lord we must live a sacrificial life. A sacrificial life is a life that is offered unto God as a sacrifice. This is a life that is completely given to the Lord. It is a life that is completely handed over to God and no longer belong to you.

In the Old Testament a sacrificed life has to be killed. So when an animal is sacrificed to the Lord, the priest will kill the animal and set it on the altar to burn it unto God. Then God will smell the smoke of the burnt animal that ascend to heaven and will accept the sacrifice. 

In the New Testament we are asked to be a living sacrifice. This is because Jesus died to remove death from our sacrificial life. To be sacrificed unto God demands that we are dead to sin and self but alive only to live for God (Romans 6:1-5). That is why you can no longer live as you like (Romans 6:6-7). You can no longer decide for yourself but your new owner. We have been crucify with Christ, the life we live now must be lived as belonging God (Galatians 2:20). You must therefore obey him always. Peace 

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to live a sacrificial life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
