  THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. SACRIFICIAL LIFE

SACRIFICIAL LIFE

Romans 12:1-5 
Dev:- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (v. 1)


    For us to be consecrated to the Lord we must live a sacrificial life. A sacrificial life is a life that is offered unto God as a sacrifice. This is a life that is completely given to the Lord. It is a life that is completely handed over to God and no longer belong to you.

In the Old Testament a sacrificed life has to be killed. So when an animal is sacrificed to the Lord, the priest will kill the animal and set it on the altar to burn it unto God. Then God will smell the smoke of the burnt animal that ascend to heaven and will accept the sacrifice. 

In the New Testament we are asked to be a living sacrifice. This is because Jesus died to remove death from our sacrificial life. To be sacrificed unto God demands that we are dead to sin and self but alive only to live for God (Romans 6:1-5). That is why you can no longer live as you like (Romans 6:6-7). You can no longer decide for yourself but your new owner. We have been crucify with Christ, the life we live now must be lived as belonging God (Galatians 2:20). You must therefore obey him always. Peace 

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to live a sacrificial life.

"A SACRIFICIAL LIFE EXISTS ONLY TO OBEY THE OWNER"

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
