  RIGHT VIEW Matthew 25:14-30 Devotional:- “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey” (V.15)  Please note that there is a way that you view life. The truth is that your view of life goes a long way to determine how you invest your time, money talents and value your relationships. People see life from different perspectives. Some sees life as up and down. Some see life as a game so they always play as it comes; some sees life as a place of party, so regular party becomes their priority. Those who see life as battle will have winning as their priority.  People expresses their view and value of life through their kind of cloths, jewelry, cars, hairstyle, tattoos or car stickers but how do God wants us to view life. SACRIFICIAL LIFE

SACRIFICIAL LIFE

Romans 12:1-5 
Dev:- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (v. 1)


    For us to be consecrated to the Lord we must live a sacrificial life. A sacrificial life is a life that is offered unto God as a sacrifice. This is a life that is completely given to the Lord. It is a life that is completely handed over to God and no longer belong to you.

In the Old Testament a sacrificed life has to be killed. So when an animal is sacrificed to the Lord, the priest will kill the animal and set it on the altar to burn it unto God. Then God will smell the smoke of the burnt animal that ascend to heaven and will accept the sacrifice. 

In the New Testament we are asked to be a living sacrifice. This is because Jesus died to remove death from our sacrificial life. To be sacrificed unto God demands that we are dead to sin and self but alive only to live for God (Romans 6:1-5). That is why you can no longer live as you like (Romans 6:6-7). You can no longer decide for yourself but your new owner. We have been crucify with Christ, the life we live now must be lived as belonging God (Galatians 2:20). You must therefore obey him always. Peace 

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to live a sacrificial life.

"A SACRIFICIAL LIFE EXISTS ONLY TO OBEY THE OWNER"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
