  KINDNESS Hebrews 13:1-9 Devotional:- “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (v.2) NKJV The season we are in is a season of strangers, and close friends will come to locate you. You will find many in need of your assistance. God’s words teach us to be of assistance to such people. Even though we live in a very dangerous and delicate world, where so many unbelievable atrocities have been committed. Yet it does not mean we should completely neglect the instruction of this part of the scripture. We only need to obey God with wisdom. We are not to turn people away sharply; we only need to learn to discern what kind of people are coming around us. We also need to be wise not to disclose or open our hidden places to strangers. SACRIFICIAL LIFE

SACRIFICIAL LIFE

Romans 12:1-5 
Dev:- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (v. 1)


    For us to be consecrated to the Lord we must live a sacrificial life. A sacrificial life is a life that is offered unto God as a sacrifice. This is a life that is completely given to the Lord. It is a life that is completely handed over to God and no longer belong to you.

In the Old Testament a sacrificed life has to be killed. So when an animal is sacrificed to the Lord, the priest will kill the animal and set it on the altar to burn it unto God. Then God will smell the smoke of the burnt animal that ascend to heaven and will accept the sacrifice. 

In the New Testament we are asked to be a living sacrifice. This is because Jesus died to remove death from our sacrificial life. To be sacrificed unto God demands that we are dead to sin and self but alive only to live for God (Romans 6:1-5). That is why you can no longer live as you like (Romans 6:6-7). You can no longer decide for yourself but your new owner. We have been crucify with Christ, the life we live now must be lived as belonging God (Galatians 2:20). You must therefore obey him always. Peace 

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to live a sacrificial life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
