That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. FEAR THE LORD

FEAR THE LORD

Psalm 19:7-14
Dev:- “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether” (V. 9)

All who are consecrated to the Lord should live all their live in the fear of the Lord. Don’t ever think you belong to the Lord when you will do what you like with your life. A man who is consecrated to the Lord is join together with the Lord just like in marriage. So he can no longer do whatever he likes but what his Lord wants (Galatians 2:20).

In the scripture we read today the Bible says the fear of the Lord is pure and it endure forever. In other words it makes us to be pure before the Lord and make man enjoy the everlasting mercy of God. It is therefore a wise action to fear the Lord (Job 28:28).

The goal of a consecrated person is to please the Lord just like a woman pleases her husband. The guardian of the Lord is for those who fear Him (Psalm 25:12-14). God delight in the life of those who fear Him. Friend, fear God and shun evil, don’t put your hand into ungodly things. Then the good things of God will be flowing to your life and you will be a blessing. Peace

Prayer: Lord, plant your fear in my heart

“ONLY THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD CAN ALWAYS PLEASE THE LORD”
