  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. HOPE IN GOD

Psalm 131:1-3
Devotional:- “O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever” (v. 3)


    As a Christian, consecrated unto the Lord, it is important we put our total hope in God. The situation around us or the experiences we passed through sometimes attempt to make us to put our hope in other things. That is why you must totally commit yourself unto God and disallow your hope in the Lord from been distracted.

The Psalmist have decided to put His hope in the God of Israel. Each one who want to follow the Lord must be willing to do this. To put your hope in Him is to put your expectations and desires in the Lord. It means to depend on Him to bring us into the glorious end. 

To hope in the Lord means to refuse to shift your hope from the Lord. (Zachariah 9:12). Surely, those who put their hope in God will not be put to shame (Romans 10:11) Refuse to take your eyes off Jesus (Hebrew 12:2). Soon you shall become a testimony for all to see. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to hope in you forever 

“YOU WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE ONE YOU ARE HOPING IN”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
