So, he is the foundation of every good home. We don’t always recognize that a home is like a structure, though God is the architect; but we have the responsibility of building. Before we get married, most people never know that they are coming to build. They always imagine it is already built. YOUR REWARD

YOUR REWARD

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional:- "Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.” V8

The word of God says, to every labour there is a reward (Proverbs 14:23). If men could be wise enough to know they need to reward labour, how much more God. Everyone working as representing the kingdom of God on earth can not but be rewarded (2 Corinthians 5:20). So, brace up as you serve the Lord.

The scripture we read today, says, he who plant and he who waters are both going to be rewarded. That is why you should not look down at what God has given you to do or where He has positioned you. Value the privileged you have to serve God. That is why you should put in your best in all you are doing for the Lord, either in your home, community, or in the house of God. All of them are extension of the church of Jesus.

Please note that, the reward in heaven is going to be based on our work here for the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:10) . Thank God for many aspects of our lives here, but our reward shall be based on how many lives we have affected for the Lord. Keep putting in your best. Your reward will come. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my work before you be rewardable.
