  MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge. YOUR REWARD

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional:- "Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.” V8


    The word of God says, to every labour there is a reward (Proverbs 14:23). If men could be wise enough to know they need to reward labour, how much more God. Everyone working as representing the kingdom of God on earth can not but be rewarded (2 Corinthians 5:20). So, brace up as you serve the Lord.

The scripture we read today, says, he who plant and he who waters are both going to be rewarded. That is why you should not look down at what God has given you to do or where He has positioned you. Value the privileged you have to serve God. That is why you should put in your best in all you are doing for the Lord, either in your home, community, or in the house of God. All of them are extension of the church of Jesus.

Please note that, the reward in heaven is going to be based on our work here for the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:10) . Thank God for many aspects of our lives here, but our reward shall be based on how many lives we have affected for the Lord. Keep putting in your best. Your reward will come. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my work before you be rewardable.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
