  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. YOUR REWARD

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional:- "Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.” V8


    The word of God says, to every labour there is a reward (Proverbs 14:23). If men could be wise enough to know they need to reward labour, how much more God. Everyone working as representing the kingdom of God on earth can not but be rewarded (2 Corinthians 5:20). So, brace up as you serve the Lord.

The scripture we read today, says, he who plant and he who waters are both going to be rewarded. That is why you should not look down at what God has given you to do or where He has positioned you. Value the privileged you have to serve God. That is why you should put in your best in all you are doing for the Lord, either in your home, community, or in the house of God. All of them are extension of the church of Jesus.

Please note that, the reward in heaven is going to be based on our work here for the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:10) . Thank God for many aspects of our lives here, but our reward shall be based on how many lives we have affected for the Lord. Keep putting in your best. Your reward will come. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my work before you be rewardable.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
