  BECOMING LIKE CHRIST Romans 8:18-30 Devotional:- “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the first born among many brethren” (V. 29) The third purpose of your life is to become like Christ. From the very beginning God intend to make man to be like Himself (Gen 1:26). So like God, we are made a spirit and our spirit lives the body. We are intellectual, we can think and solve problems. We are relational, i.e. we can give and receive love. We also have a moral conscience to discern right from wrong which make us accountable to God. God’s ultimate goal for you on earth is not comfort but character. He wants you to grow up and become like Christ. This does not mean losing your personality. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character and not your personality. Every time you forget that character development is the reason you are here you frustrate yourself. INSISTING

Matthew 11:7-15
Devotional:- “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (V. 12)


    Each one who is consecrated tone Lord, must live to insist of the will of God for their lives. The three Hebrews determines to go through the fire even if God will not save them (Daniel 3:17-18). Esther insisted in seeing the king even if it’s against the law (Esther 4:16). This is the life style of the kingdom citizen. They don’t compromise the will of God.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus said the kingdom of God is to be taken by force. We must learn to refuse the devil from taken our heritage from us. That is why it is very important that you have quality knowledge of the will of God for your life in any situation. And stand upon the promises of the word of God till you see the reality of the promises of the word of God in your life (Ephesians 6:14).

Friends, whatever you don’t insist on may not be fully yours. We must learn to stand upon the promises of the word of God. That is when you will be an achiever by faith in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayers: Lord, strengthen me to always insist on your word 

“YOU ARE EITHER STANDING OR FALLING, SO STAND”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
