  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. LOVING OTHERS

1 John 4:7-16
Dev:- “No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us” (V.12)

    The Bible is so specific about how we should treat our neighbors. God’s word told us to love them as we love ourselves. This may sound so easy, but not quite. It’s important we know that what our neighbors are saying about us cannot be far from the truth. That is why our Christian life should first be experienced by our neighbors.

To love your neighbor as yourself means you care for them the way you care for yourself. This demands that you identify how you love your own self. You love yourself by taking care of yourself. You love yourself by wishing yourself good things of life. You love yourself by watchfully protecting your life and you don’t let anything harm you.

Then, loving your neighbors as yourself demands that you care for them; watch over them as you do to yourself. Don’t see anything harmful and keep quiet. Share the gospel with them; intercede for them before the Lord. And you will be the son and daughter of the Most High in heaven. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to love my neighbour

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
