Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. SHARING YOUR FEELING

 SHARING YOUR FEELING

Hebrews 4:11-16
Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)”

It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.

As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you.

That is why He made provision for your help. He is in need (Psalms 46:1-3). Therefore, do not be afraid. He has made a way of escape for you (1 Corinthians 10:13). It will soon be over. Refuse to be weak, stand strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10-12). He will show you His salvation. He will turn your sorrow to joy. He will lift you up again. Awake, put on your strength in God. You will see your victory.

Prayer: Lord, release your grace for help on me.
