Working is the only way to turn your energy into wealth and visible achievement. Working is a means of labouring or exercising your potential to produce what you desire. If a man will not work, he will not earn (Proverbs 14:23). God’s word even says that he who will not work should not eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10). It therefore means that working is living.

Jesus understands the opportunity awaiting Him in working. He knows that it is the way to express His destiny. He knows that His act of work is a privilege to carry out His mission on the earth. And He told us that even God exploits this opportunity.

You must see opportunity in your work, either domestically or officially. It is in it that you demonstrate your ability. In it you prove your potential. In it you invest to harvest. In it you have the privilege to affect life and create your own wealth. So, please count your work as a privilege for your life. Work is not only when you are employed. It is doing something within your ability to affect other lives. It is by your work that you produce your worth. Value it, cherish it, and give it your best. Hate idleness, love your work, and it will give you a worth.

Prayer: Lord, help me to make the most of my work.

“IT IS ONLY A MAN WHO IS WORKING THAT CAN EARN A WORTH”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
