God’s children need to know the great privilege they have by being a child of God. To be children of God means we have been forgiven our sins (Romans 4:8); it means we have been delivered from the power of darkness to light (Colossians 1:13, 1 Peter 2:9); it means great grace and power have been released to convey us from the slavery of the devil to become that of God (1 Peter2:10)

You need to know that adopting a child in this world is not an easy task because you have to go through so many rigorous processes. This is not child’s play because it is not very easy to reverse it. The implications on the side of the adopting parent are also so great. People who wish to go into this must really be ready for it. Much more is our adoption for God.

We are so important that God gave His only Son to have us. It is the blood of His Son alone that could bathe us clean to His standard. And He put His Spirit in us. Don’t let the devil make you feel it is cheap. It is rather costly, though free to us. But you and I must value and do all things to keep this great privilege. It will be wisdom to exploit this great privilege to the maximum by knowing our right as God’s children and always claiming it. If children of great men in this world count it a privilege, then it is a greater opportunity to be a child of God.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my right value in my heart always.

“WHEN YOU ARE ADOPTED, IT IS UNTO FULL RIGHT”

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
