Those who will launch into the sea of opportunities are those who will not keep their talent to themselves but use it to bless others. You need to know that using your gifts opens you to greater opportunities. Using your gifts means you are flowing out to others. And it also means you are ready to receive more from God. Such people are just making themselves available as a channel of water (Proverbs 11:25). They will keep bringing water since they are linked with an unending source.
David was a man who was talented in playing musical instruments. He practised every day in readiness for his enthronement. When the opportunity came, he was able to fit into it. He used his talent to deliver the king, and then the king appointed him to be his armour-bearer (1 Samuel 16:21). One door kept leading to another as he used his gifts.
Friend, what are the abilities God has kept in you? Until you start using them, people will not know what you are up to. They are the instruments of God for your announcement. They are the keys to your open door and ways to your opportunities (Proverbs 18:16). It is in using them that you fulfil your destiny. Locate them and begin to use them in preparation for your invitations for lifting. And you shall find your throne.
Prayer: Lord, help me to start using my gift for my
lifting.
