When God gave His Son (Jesus Christ) to the world, it would not have been an easy thing. But He saw a great opportunity of the billions in the world to be saved, and He tapped into it. When Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac, he saw a privilege in obeying God. He knew that the reward would be very great. So, he was ready to let go of his child.

So also, God gave Jesus to the world to save the world. The coming of Jesus to the world not only saved people and gave eternal life, but also delivered men from the hand of their enemy. He brought us from darkness into light. He enlisted us into God’s kingdom.

Friend, you cannot finish exploiting the opportunities waiting for you when you are a giver. It makes you a blessing; it registers you for future favour and help. It makes you a comfort and a harvest of great and good things from God. Be determined to be a giver. You are simply exploiting the privilege of sowing to reap a more glorious blessing (Psalms 126:5-6). Stop frowning at giving. Ask for the grace to lay down and to pick it up (John 10:18). Giving is creating a fortune when it is done in obedience to God. He will always test your level of giving to take you to your next level. Be wise!

Prayer: Lord, give me a giving Spirit.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
