He is always making us to think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think if they have so, so and so then they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life, right in our hands and heart lies what can make us succeed. It is true that we need the help and favour of God. But they will only catch up with us when we are us...

KNOW YOURSELF

There is a need for you to know that one of the most useful and productive adventures you can embark on is the study of yourself. This is because your uniqueness in nature goes a long way to determine your strength and your ability to fulfil your destiny. Your purpose of existence is embedded in your uniqueness. You will be helping yourself to study who you are.

Three major things you have to know are your nature, your strength and your weakness. This will help you develop your weaknesses to enjoy a more balanced life. To develop your weakness, you will need to read or hear messages about a particular aspect of life. Your ability to manage yourself determines your ability to manage others. You can take a good study of yourself through observation and examination.

You need to observe your temperament and some traits that are personal to you. Knowing yourself gives you confidence in the face of every battle. Sun Tzu, the author of “The Art of War,” said “If you know yourself and know the enemy, you will not fear the result of a thousand battles.”If you know yourself and not the enemy, for every battle you win, you will always feel defeated.” If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will submit in every battle.” Paul told Timothy, " Watch your life closely. No matter how much noise your enemy is making, you will not be moved because you know who you are by the grace of God. Trying to be like others is limiting yourself. When you know who you are, the enemy will not be able to trap you. You are created with a strength for victory. And you will win.

Prayer: Lord, help me to make the best use of myself.
“WHAT YOU CALL YOURSELF IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT YOU ARE CALLED”
