 BORN TO WIN


1 John 5:1-5
Devotional:- “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.” (V. 4) NKJV

God is great, mighty and victorious. No one can challenge His power and authority. They’ve not given birth to the devil that can face God. He has on several occasions given the devil a public disgrace (Colossians 3:15).
When God created man, He expected him to cheaply overcome the enemy. But the first man fell into the devil’s trick. Because God cannot fail, He did not create a second Adam but gave birth to Him. There is power in this. He discovered that the first Adam did not perfectly resemble Him in strength and power. So He decided to give birth to the second Adam, in the person of Jesus. So He is referred to as the firstborn among the living. God has not born anyone before Him. Whatever you give birth to will carry your strength.

Friend, that is why, since that time, people become Christians not by coming to church but by being born again (John 3:1-7). When a man invites Christ to his life, he is given power to become a child of God born of God (John 1:12). This is because Christ is born into him. The same power produces the strength of God in you. The Bible says, “whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world”, so you are loaded and equipped to win. That is why every man needs to be born again. That is being born of God. Then you will become too strong for the enemy to overcome. God’s strength is in you. You only need to recognise and build up connection with Christ in you. You are no longer an ordinary person. You are born with the strength and power of God. Friend, let your faith grow in this word; you carry the seed of God. You will win.

Prayer: Lord, let there be a growth of the seed of God in me for victory 

“THE ENEMY CAN ONLY OVERCOME THOSE WHO ARE CREATED OF GOD BUT NOT THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF GOD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
