LOVE CIRCLE
John 15:5-12Devotional:- “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you” (V.12) NKJV
The love circle is not yet complete, except for the love we have for the people around us. There is a circle of love just like we have a carbon cycle in nature. Today, many consider the level of God's grace in dispensing to them to be too low. But little did we often consider one of the strongest principles of God that gave birth to the love circle. This is the law of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7). The love circle simply shows that God loves us so that we might love others. And as we show our love to others, God also love us more.
We all know that we live in a hostile world full of hatred and bitterness. Yet the bible did not leave us with an option of neglecting them but commanded us to love them. Loving others is in obedience to God’s commandment and not because they deserve it. We should also know that we do not deserve God’s love. You don’t know who you will help today that will become a help for you or your children tomorrow. This is how God expects us to learn to overcome evil with good.
You need to know that there is nothing bad in any man. People became bad by the spirit of the devil that dwells in them. And since the spirit in them is bad, they bear the same fruit (Matthew 7:1 7- 18). Having understood the secret behind the wickedness of man, you who know the truth should always pity them and look for a way out for them. So even if they behave wrongly to you, you should love them. It 1s the reason why Jesus could forgive the man on the cross (Luke 23:34). If you, because of your status or opportunity today as a teacher, boss, leader or guidance, were to be wicked, you or your children will surely reap it. Friend, you need to love and care for the people around you by giving help when needed. Then you will enjoy God’s love also, and your
Joy shall be full. This is a love circle.
Prayer: Lord, grant me grace to love as you love me.
“LOVING OTHER IS LOVING YOURSELF”
