STAND IN

 STAND IN

1 Timothy 2:1-7
Devotional:- “Here are my directions: Pray much for others; plead for God's mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them.” (v.1) TLB.

When God lifts a man, such a man must have enjoyed the intercessory ministry of others. It is part of the principle of God for us to receive (Matthew 7:7). This is because He does not want to break into our free will and damage our choice. He does not want to break into our decision. That is why we say it sometimes when an event happens, "Did God not see it?” Until He is asked to do something, He finds it difficult to do it. Rather, if He wants to promote a man and the man is not aware, He will touch other people to pray for him.

That is why you and I must also be willing to pray and stand in the gap for others. Paul was instructing Timothy and all of us as members of the body of Christ to pray for others. There are so many people around you who need one thing or another. Even though you cannot help them, you can pray for them.

Instead of complaining about all governments, you pray for them. Intercession makes you enjoy a great revelation of God. When you give yourself to praying for others, God begins to reveal solutions to you. He will show you reasons for the circumstances. He will guide you to the solution so that you can pray for their solution. And God will always water the intercessors with favour (Proverbs 11:25).

Prayer: Lord, give me a burden to pray for others.
“WHEN YOU STAND IN FOR OTHERS GOD STANDS IN FOR YOU”
