Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. MANDATE OF VICTORY

 MANDATE OF VICTORY

Joshua 1:1-6
Devotional:- “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you” (V. 5) NKJV

God has no plan or programme of failure or defeat for you. He made all things available for your victory. Many of us have not come to an awareness that we are not here on our own. We are here for God. You are created by God. Packaged and sent to this world to manifest for Him (Isaiah 43:21). So God has a lion's share in your failure if you fail and vis-à-vis if you succeed. So if you fail, He is not happy.

He knows that you are going to face some forces that will challenge your life. This could be in the school, office, and in society. But He has written a decree of your victory before you begin the battle. So for a Christian, the battle of life is fixed. God, who is in the beginning and the end, has determined the winner. And that is you. He said no one shall be able to withstand or face you to defeat you, all the days of your life.

All you need to do is believe that the decree is for you. The Bible is God’s word for all His children. Don’t take defeat as a lifestyle. The challenges might look strong, but as you take your stand by faith, they will submit unto you. God’s word says, “Whosoever riseth up against you shall fall for your sake” (Isaiah 54:15). Since you know that the battle is in your favour, don’t be afraid. Be bold and be courageous. God did not speak this as a statement to tease you, but of truth. Therefore, rise in courage. You have already been appointed a winner. God promised to be with you always. So your enemies are in trouble. And you will win (Romans 8:31).

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage of a winner
“GOD’S DECREE HOLDS EVERYWHERE, BUT YOU ARE THE ONE TO ENFORCE IT.”
