But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

CONDEMNATION

CONDEMNATION

Romans 8:1-8
Devotional:- “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (v.1) NKJV

Condemnation is often mistakenly taken as one of the behaviours of the righteous, and by it, the enemy often steals the joy of many. What most people feel like expressing is the fact that being sober brings us to a time of quality self-examination. But this has nothing to do with condemnation (2 Corinthians 7:10). It is actually the enemy that is making us feel we are not fit to live in God’s presence. It’s all together the trick of the devil to steal our joy.
In the scripture we read today, the Bible says we are no longer to be condemned. Condemnation is a legal term applicable to an accused who is guilty of a crime. But Christ has taken all we are supposed to take on the cross. If you have to suffer for your sin, then the death of Christ is in vain. God’s word says we have been justified through faith in Christ Jesus (Romans 5:1). No one can stop your destiny. Don’t let the devil make you feel things are not working, just because of your past sins (Acts 17:30). In most cases, it is not because of sin, but we’ve not been responsible enough to do what we are supposed to do, to make things work.
Get to know that Christ died for your justification (Romans 4:25). So, condemnation is a trick of the devil to steal your joy. It’s a game on your ignorance. If you confess your sin, Christ has forgiven you and you are free (1 John 1:7-10, John 8:32, 36). Hold on to this truth, and you shall retain your joy.

Prayer: Jesus, I thank you for my freedom.
“WHO CAN CONDEMN HE THAT THE LORD HAS JUSTIFIED (ROMANS 8:33-34)”
