SUCCESS AND YOUR PURPOSE

SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). PROMISES OF JOY

PROMISES OF JOY
Isaiah 55:6-13
Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (v.11) NKJV

One thing that is common with lovers is promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque left that can be turned into cash. So when people who loves us give us promises, we cherish them. And when we remember them, it gladdens our hearts. We often feel happy enough to share it with other friends.

One terrible thing that is common with men is failed promises. These, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises and make man look like a deceiver.

But God is not like man. He will fulfil all that He has promised you. No matter what the case may be, His word will come to pass. Who will say that Sarah will bear a son to Abraham at 90 or that Abraham will at last have up to eight children (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). This is the act of God’s faithfulness.

Friend, whatever He has promised you in His word, hold on to it to the end, and it will surely come to pass (Isaiah 55:11). Stand on the word by faith. You will surely be blessed. See you at the top!

Prayer: Lord, help me to stand on your word till I see my miracle.

“GOD’S PROMISES CANNOT FAIL BECAUSE HIS WORD CREATES AS HE SAYS IT”
