SUCCESS AND YOUR PURPOSE

SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). When you start to live for God, your definition of success will change from materials to purpose. Liv...

GOD WITH YOU

GOD WITH YOU

Esther 8:9-17
Devotional:- “The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor” (v.16) NKJV

There is nothing as beautiful as when God is with a man. All things will just be working wonderfully for him. Such a person enjoys God’s favour and mercy. He enjoys the grace of God. And as a result of grace, God preserves him from all evil and prospers his endeavour. The enemy of such a person will always be put to shame, and because of God’s presence with him, He will always be filled with testimonies of joy. Do you know that this is God’s plan for your life because the Lord is with you? (Isaiah 43:2).
Though the Jews were in a land of slavery, the presence of the Lord was with them. And by this, they were preserved and protected. At one time, a man rose against the Jews to destroy them, but God fought for them (Romans 8:31). A letter went out from the King for all the Jews to be destroyed, but God turned it around in their favour. So they were victorious, and they experienced the time of joy before the Lord.
Friend, you also need to know that God is with you. Whoever is against you is in trouble (Romans 8:31). In every battle you face, there shall be victory for you. Your enemy will be filled with sorrow and shame because everywhere you turn, there shall be joy, gladness and honour. You just need to abide in Christ and arise against whatever is against you with your confidence in God’s presence. Then you will always enjoy the fullness of blessings and victory that His presence brings.

Prayer: Lord, let the joy of your presence always be with me.
“WHEN GOD IS WITH YOU, THE END OF YOUR STORY WILL ALWAYS BE JOY”
