VOICES OF MERRY

Jeremiah 30:16-22

Devotional:- “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small” (v.19) NKJV


It is amazing to see how the world is multiplying in sorrow. The proceeds of the heart of men today are sorrow. Daily, we hear news of sorrow. Evil things are daily befalling the sons of men. There is hardly a day without the news of sorrow. Strong nations are becoming victims of sorrow. The enemy seems to be growing stronger to afflict the world.

It is important that you realise that this world is simply experiencing the event of the end time. What you need to know is the plan of God for you and your family in the midst of the many sorrows. And that is what God is speaking about in the scripture that we read today. Instead of sorrowful news the world is experiencing, He said Out of you shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry.

Friend, believe the word of God and it will turn to you according to your faith. No matter the experience of the people around you, your own portion will be thanksgiving and merriment. As you accept this word, God will send to you the experience of joy. He will start to multiply you and glorify you. He will punish your oppressor even before they oppress, and great people shall begin to come out of you. Leaders of the nation shall be among your people, and God shall make Himself available unto you as you ask him in prayers. You will always have testimonies.


Prayer: Lord, ordain my life for your praise.

“ANYTIME GOD IS AT WORK, THE RESULT WILL BE JOY”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
