MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. GOOD RELATIONSHIP

GOOD RELATIONSHIP

Genesis 24:60-67
Devotional:- “Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent; and he took Rebekah and she became his wife, and he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother's death” (v.67) NKJV

Relationship, as it were, can be both good and bad. It can be a factor for either sorrow or joy. When you find a good relationship, you will enjoy the beauty of it’s joy. A good relationship will bring increase and growth and will always come with joy. When a man finds a good relationship, he will enjoy it’s blessings. Everyone loves to have a good relationship that is full of joy, but people do not know that it is their responsibility to make their relationship good.
In our scripture today, we read about Isaac, who met his wife and accommodated her with a mature heart, and this brought great comfort to his life. It doesn’t mean that the woman was perfect, but he has a mature attitude of love. This made them enjoy a lovely and joyful marriage (Genesis 26:28).
Friend, take responsibility to also build your own family for your joy. Be willing to love and be lovable. Humble yourself to compromise your personal ego for a peaceful relationship. Take time to build your own house well; everyone builds his (Proverbs 14:1). Stop complaining about your family; build it for your joy. Keep sowing the seed of joy in the life of your partner. This year, God will bring you to a relationship that will comfort your life, and God will establish you in joy.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to build a joyful family.
“IT IS WHAT YOU BUILD THAT YOU WILL LIVE IN”
