SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). Genesis 21:1-7
Devotional:- “And Sarah said, "God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me."" (v.6) NKJV

It is important that you know that your life is determined by your choice. It is what you say your life will be that it shall be. Men are simply victims of their own beliefs and words (Proverbs 6:2). That is why you and I need to be careful of what we declare about our lives, family and pursuit (Isaiah 43:26).
The woman we read about today was a woman of faith. When she gave birth to her child, she called him laughter. She, by her mouth, rejoices at the gift of God to her life. No matter the colour or look of the child, her own name for the baby is laughter. God’s word talks about Moses' mother, she saw her child as good and could not surrender him for killing (Exodus 2:2). Watch out, it is what you call your life that it shall be.
Many gifts God gave to people are turned into sorrow by the name they call it. God has blessed some with cars, houses, children, wives and even business, and they call them sorrowful and negative names. See, call every gift of God in your life good. That marriage, child, business and ministry are a gift of God to your life, and they are good, but it’s your mouth that has affected it. If only you can repent today, they shall be turned good again.
The mother of Jabez caused trouble for him till he decided to change his name (1 Chronicles 9:10). The mother of Benjamin almost threw him into sorrow, but the father intervened (Genesis 35:18). Please call your family, children and business good, and that shall produce your joy.

Declaration: Now my entire life shall be known for joy.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
