HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

GIVER'S JOY

GIVER’S JOY

Acts 20:31-38
Devotional:- “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'" (v.35) NKJV

A man, in his poor way of looking at things, thinks it is wiser to keep receiving. But do you know that it is more blessed to give? Some only want to enjoy receiving, and they don’t enjoy giving. Some will even give water to you as if they are giving their blood. So many don’t even have the mind of a giver. They prefer to keep saving (Proverbs 21:26).
But we need to understand the purpose of our creation. Man is created to be a giver. We are created to help others. It is only in giving that we can find joy and fulfilment. It is often said that the hand of the giver is always at the top (Proverbs 22:7). It is in giving that we can be blessed.
Please understand that God is always looking for givers. Every time God impress it in your heart to give, He is only testing you before enlisting you among channels of blessings (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). Why? He wants to supply the needs of some people, and He is always looking for people who will make themselves vessels and channels to reach out to others So that He can keep supplying through them (Proverbs 19:17).. Therefore, the vessel cannot lack or be in want of anything.
Friend, it is more blessed to give than to receive. From now on, seek to give by the use of your talents, money and time to feed some people. Bless them and put a smile on their faces. Make good use of this season of giving. Look for someone in your neighbourhood, in your office, in your church and bless them. Do it at your level, and the New Year will bring an abundance of blessings into your life.

Prayer: Lord, plant in me a giver’s heart.
“HE THAT CHOOSES TO BE A BLESSING CANNOT BUT BE BLESSED”
