But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). THE PAST

THE PAST

Isaiah 43:8-21
Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV

God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future.
As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy.
The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to learn to see yourself in a new way. See a new you that can always make it and succeed. See a new you with God’s presence, and that cannot fail. This is called Hope and faith.
God’s word says there shall be water in the desert and closed doors shall be opened. When a man succeeds in what he does, he can always have faith to succeed again. I see a new you emerging. Have a new expectation. Take a new faith in your God, and you will have new success, and your glory will be sustained.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from hurts of my past.
“IF YOU CAN’T LET GO OF THE PAST, THEN YOU CAN’T GET HOLD OF THE FUTURE”
