THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. EVERLASTING JOY

EVERLASTING JOY

Isaiah 35:1-10

Devotional:- “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away” (v.10) NKJV

If you will receive this word by faith, it shall be yours forever. “From now on, you shall experience everlasting joy” Everlasting joy is the joy that will last till eternity, this is the joy of salvation (Psalm 51:12). The fact is that we live in a world with seasons, and these seasons come and go. They have made life unstable for many who live by the seasons. But the will and the promise of God concerning your life is that you will keep having unending joy. Now your sorrow shall flee away, then you will start to obtain joy.

God gave the church and every believer an assignment if we want to know everlasting joy, as we read in our scriptures today. The assignment is to strengthen the weak hand and share the message of faith and hope with the weary. Then we shall open the door to the Lord to release His joy upon His people, and He will release unending joy on us.

Contrary to what we used to hear, start to strengthen everyone around you in your family, church, or the neighbourhood with the word of his promises. Tell your children that they can make it. Then you will open the door of unending joy to your family. Tell the weak, the Lord is their strength. Tell the poor that the Lord can bless. Tell the sick that God is their healer and the blind that God can open their eyes. Then you will release the power of God into action in your life and the life of the people around you. Then they shall participate in the unending joy of God. Remember, the seed of joy is the goodness of the word of God (Luke 8:11). The Lord has made this season for your coming joy, and you will not miss it.

Prayer: Lord, make me a distributor of joy.
