APPRECIATION

APPRECIATION Psalm 92:1-10 Devotional:- “It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High” (v.1) NKJV It is in the habit of most people that when they are expecting something from God, they will do everything possible to gain His favour. But as soon as it is done, that thing loses value to them. So, people only value what they don’t have. This sometimes does not make us have a heart of gratitude to God. We will always promise to give thanks, but as soon as we receive our expectations, some will forget to give thanks. Many do not know that the opportunity or privilege that is available to them is what qualifies them for what they are expecting. But they look down on this because their expectations have not been met. Your health is more important than travelling abroad. The breath of life you enjoy is far more valuable than the car or job you are expecting. In fact, this qualifies you for those things. Friend, no matter what God has done for you,...

ANOINTING OF JOY

ANOINTING OF JOY

Isaiah 61:1-6

“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified” (V. 3) NKJV

You must realise that you are not created for sorrow. The atmosphere in heaven is always one of joy; heaven is not a place for sorrow. From the beginning, we were creatures of joy. He that created us cannot make us for sorrow. It is a pity that a greater percentage of the time of man is full of sorrow (it was not so from the beginning). This is definitely a result of the enemy stealing the joy of man and giving him the yoke of sorrow.

That is why the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Christ has come to give an anointing of joy instead of mourning and sorrow. It means from now on, your sorrow shall be over. Anointing of joy breaks the yoke of sorrow (Isaiah 10:27). The oil represents the virtue or the power of the Spirit of God. The yoke of sorrow is the trouble that the sorrow of life has brought into your life. I see the yoke of sorrow broken away from your life from now on in Jesus' name.

For this very reason, Jesus came to anoint you with oil of joy. Christ means the anointed one, and He is now dwelling in you. One of the anointings He brings to you is the anointing of Joy. All you need to do is to believe God’s word that says Christ, the anointed one, is in you (1Cor 3:16), and your faith will start to say ‘No’ to sorrow, for the Lord has anointed you for joy for the remaining days of your life. Joy shall be your lot. God has set you free from sorrow, and now He shall encompass you around with joy. If you can believe, it shall be so, and your joy shall have no end. Welcome to your season of joy.

Prayer: Lord, anoint me with the oil of joy.

“THE ANOINTING OF JOY IS YOUR KEY TO JOY”
