HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

JOY IN THE CITY

JOY IN THE CITY

Acts 8:1-8

Devotional:- “And there was great joy in that city” (v.8) NKJV

Another powerful producer of joy is Christ in your life (Colossians 1:27). Christ can change our sorrow into joy. He came to set us free from the power that caged us in sorrow. He came to give us the key to joy. Many have not come to know that having Christ in their life is not just about going to church. The truth you need to hear is that when you give room to Christ in your life, you have given room to joy (Luke 2:10).

The scripture we read today is the report of what happened to the city of Samaria. They accommodated Jesus Christ in their life, and God’s word reported that there was great joy in that city. The confusion is that there are many in church today without Christ; they have confessed Jesus Christ as their Saviour, but they don’t have room for him in their heart. They are workers and leaders, but have no room for Christ.

When Christ has room in your life, He will change you from the inside out. He will give you a new mind (1 Corinthians 2:16), a new faith (Mark 11:22-24). He will give you a new thought system (2 Timothy 1:7), He will give you a new language, a new life entirely. It is a life of joy, a life that cannot accommodate sorrow and can no longer be broken down. If you have this spirit in you, then out of you shall continually flow rivers of joy (John 7:38); you will become a joy producer.

Prayer: Lord, take over my life totally.

“YOUR CHANGED LIFE IS THE ONLY EVIDENCE OF YOUR SALVATION”
