HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

WILLING SACRIFICES

WILLING SACRIFICES

1 Chronicles 29:1-9
Devotional:‐ “Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the LORD; and King David also rejoiced greatly” (v.9) NKJV

Generations of men have always misunderstood giving. To them it looks like they are reducing when God is asking them to give. Also, most people have not come to the understanding that we are creatures made to find fulfilment only when we give. You need to observe that orange is a waste when no one suck it. Also, life will be a waste when it benefits no one. If you really want joy, one of the strongest sources is a sense of fulfilment (sense of success). And this can only come when you have joyfully given unto the Lord or others (2 Timothy 4:6). That is, when you have willingly flowed out to others.
The people we read about today were challenged to give willingly to the work of the Lord. And this brought them great joy. See, the greatest moment of your life can only be when others benefit from what God has helped you to attain. If you therefore want to be happy, you need to desire to willingly bless others with your life.
Organise how people can be raised throughout your life. Do you know that this should be your ultimate goal on earth? Everything you have will finish, but the life you affect will keep affecting others. And though you may no longer be around, your work keeps speaking. That is why God ask us to always give with joy (2 Corinthians 9:7, 2 Timothy 4:7). Your joy shall be full.

Prayer: Lord, give me a giving spirit.
“GIVING IS THE ONLY MEANS OF YOUR CONTINUITY”
