LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE

LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE Ecclesiastics 4:1-6 Devotional:- "Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind” (V.4)   One of the most frustrating things in life is when people don’t know what exactly to live for. In that case they just live doing whatever they find others living for.  So many people live their lives driven by guilt. So they keep regretting their steps and past. Some live all their lives on resentment and anger. So many lives are in disarray because they are victims of transfer of aggression. So many lives are driven by fear of many things, so many live their lives driven by materialism, so they live a live that is never satisfied pursuing money. Other lives are driven by the need for approval. So it is what people say about them that determine their joy. The best way to live is to be driven by purpose for which God made you.  When you allow God’s purpose for your life...

UNFORGIVEN

UNFORGIVEN

Genesis 4:1-11
Devotional:- “So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?” (v.6) NKJV

It is ignorance for people to think unforgiven is a way of paying back people who offended them. Unforgiven is actually not against anyone but against oneself. It is always a trick of the enemy to steal our joy. Any time the enemy sees people happy, he always uses the trick of unforgiven to steal their joy. This is because he knows that joy will produce our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Cain could not forgive his brother, and the enemy helped him develop his unforgiven into bitterness till he became a murderer and destroyed himself. He could not succeed on earth. Observe that when some people offends you, it makes you get bitter and unhappy. If you even try to keep it off your mind as though it does not affect you yet, when you remember or see the person, your mind suddenly becomes sorrowful and bitter. It is just a trick of the devil to steal your joy and put you under the yoke of bitterness.
It is therefore wise to let go of the person and let God avenge you. Do you know the person who offends you may be so free and enjoying himself, but you are binding yourself and breaking your heart? Refuse to die in silence. Don’t continue under the yoke of sorrow. When you forgive people, you will observe that a great load will be off your heart. If Jesus does not forgive you, where will you hide? God counts unforgiven to be equal to murder. Forgiving is an act of maturity, and such will live a life of joy.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always forgive.
