No one likes to give up in the middle of an argument, or else he will be seen as a loser. The devil also don’t want anyone to give up in the middle of any quarrel. Even though you know it is not pleasant. Yet something in you doesn’t want you to give up (Proverbs 18:6-7). The Bible says the beginning of strife is like the release of locked water. You may not be able to determine the kind of materials carried with water; neither do you know the evil it can cause nor the end of it.

That quarrelsome nature that is in you, you may not be able to imagine its effects. You will be wise to always learn to avoid it. And when it happens, always be a party to stop it. When strife starts, it does begin to come with provoking words; the devil stands at both ends to see to their destruction.

Don’t be deceived. There is nothing good strife and quarrel will earn you. Some use to think they are trying to silence or threaten others, but this purpose can’t be achieved by striving. The defeated will always want to strike back. Avoid quarrelling; it doesn’t give birth to good things. Moreover, be ready to be cheated for the sake of peace (Matthew 5:40). Then you are walking in wisdom.

Prayer: Lord, give me the wisdom to know when to walk away

“THE SEED OF STRIFE AND QUARREL WILL ALWAYS GERMINATE TROUBLE”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
