Whether you recognise this or not, it is true that the kind of people you associate with, determines the kind of person you are going to eventually become. Since man is an emotional being, we easily get influenced by what people around us are doing or what we see often. So many lives and destinies have been reshaped and altered by association. May I also let you know that your life and destiny, your success or failure, can be determined by your kind of association (1 Corinthians 5:33). 

This is the reason you have to be careful in determining the kind of people you’re moving with or associating with; “Birds of the same feather flock together”. You can determine rightly by first knowing what you want to become, where you are going and how to get there. Then look for the people who share this same view of life and move closer to them. Especially people who are also moving in your chosen direction and are successful in it. You, as a child of God, must be careful of associating with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). Their means of achievement cannot but be crooked. Don’t forget that any achievement without God will come to nought. (Prov. 13:11). Choose a good fellowship of children of God, where your faith can be motivated, and your hope be fulfilled. Don’t because of fear of what people will say, stay in wrong association. Take the right step, then things will be right for you. 

Prayer: Lord, help me not to be a victim of wrong association

“YOU HAVE A GREAT FUTURE, DON’T TERMINATE IT WITH WRONG ASSOCIATIONS”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
