THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. RUNNING WITH VISION

RUNNING WITH VISION

Habakkuk 2:1-4
Devotional:- “And the LORD answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain Upon tables, that he may run that readeth it” (v.2) KJV

So many people run with all their effort in this world, but to no avail. Many people often depend upon their strength in this part of the world, so they run daily on their strength. They do not know that the word of God says, “it’s not by power nor by might, but my spirit says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). God’s word says, by strength shall no man prevail (I Samuel 2:9).

The earlier you wake up to understand the principles that govern life, the better for you. We all need to know that God is the owner of the world and all that is in it (Proverbs 24:1). He sends us to the world to carry out assignments for Him, and this you can discover by vision. Vision is insight into the plan of God for our lives. You don’t determine it, but you discover it. It was there in the heart of your creator before you were created. So it is not what you can now determine; you can only discover it as your creator reveals it to you.

To receive your vision, ask God in prayer without preceding Him, with all patience and humility to wait on him and believe His word. Then, He will guide you to His will for you. Running your life out of vision will amount to suffering no mattęr the size of the salary (Proverbs 29:18). It is only running by vision that is fulfilling the mind of God. That is why the Bible says, the race is not given to the swift (Eccleas siastes 9:11). I know that you are just in the year of your sweatless achievement. And it shall show everywhere.

Prayer: Lord, reveal your will concerning my life that I might be able to succeed.

“A MAN RUNNING WITHOUT VISION WILL LACK DIVINE DIRECTION.”
