But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). DENY YOURSELF

DENY YOURSELF

II Samuel 23:13-18
Devotional:- “And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew Water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate… (v. 16). KJV

Every success story has the background of self-denial. Since success is never by accident but by conscious effort, it is then highly important that you learn to deny yourself. Complaints and excuses will always be there on the way to any man's success, they are stumbling blocks that can only be overcome by self-denial.

To deny yourself means to refuse to look at your weakness or listen to the complaint of your body. There is no other root to flying in life than this.

The scripture we read today describes the demonstration of men of self-denial. No one pursuing anything that will not want to avoid hindrances. But these are so determined and refuse to carry out the suggestions of their body and their friends. And they broke through.

Friend, those goals you want to achieve can only be possible when you deny yourself. Forget about your weaknesses and forget about your feelings. All of these will only weaken your spirit. If you will not make it, no one will make it for you. The only answer to that examination, business and family situation and ministry is self-denial. You can make it. Self-denial comes from strong determination. Stop looking back. Deny yourself and face the challenges. And you will soon become a winner.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always deny myself for my achievements.

“UNTIL YOU CAN DENY YOURSELF EVERY GOOD THING MAY BE DENIED OF YOU”.
