HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

SACRIFICE

SACRIFICE

Genesis 8:15-22
Devotional:- Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offering on it” (v. 20) NIV

Believers need to purge their minds of earthly beliefs and philosophies that are contrary to the word of God to be able to enjoy the best of God. Most people don’t want to ever hear teachings of sacrifice because something in man will always want to resist the way of God, but our flesh will only want to sanction the things of the Spirit.

Sacrifice is an offering to God, a gift of our love to prove our appreciation to Him. It is our seed for a greater response from

God. It is a sign of appreciation to God for the past benefits. It is what triggers God to establish His covenant of blessing with man. No life will succeed without sacrificing.

Noah had been saved from the flood. He and his family thought it wise to sacrifice and appreciate the Lord for His mercy toward them. Little do they know that they were about to make God release another covenant blessing upon their lives and destinies.

When God smelled the aroma of the sacrifice from the bottom of His heart, he pronounced a great blessing that has preserved the earth till now. Friend, don’t be pushed. Plan to make a sacrifice to the Lord from your heart as the new year begins. Just like God blessed Abraham from His heart (Genesis 22:17), He will also bless you. Look for something precious to do for the Lord and His servants. Let it be precious and painful sacrifices for a precious covenant. Sacrifices are not always easy, for they are precious seeds for the release of precious destiny and its actualisation. It’s your turn to rise.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be willing to sacrifice for the release of my destiny.

“YOUR SACRIFICE SIMPLY OPEN YOUR DOOR OF GLORY”
