LOVE DEFINED

LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love. The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). This mean God is love personified. It is His character and attitude. You can always define God as love. That is t...

BE STRONG

BE STRONG

I Chronicles 11:13-25
Devotional:- “Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also had gone down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day.” (V.22) NKJV

If you desire to move into your glorious place, one of the virtues you must put on is great strength. And please understand that I am not referring to physical strength alone, but more importantly, mental and spiritual strength. You need to understand you are not made to be weak from the on set, you are created strong. If you observe it, you will notice that almost all young people start strongly in life. But men begin to reduce in strength as they fall and rise in the race of life.

Let us locate the source of a genuine strength today. God’s word says, “a wise man is strong and a man of knowledge increases strength” (Proverbs 24:5). Just as you know that knowledge is referred to as power, but is not equal to strength. Knowledge releases power to you, and the exercise of power becomes strength. That is wisdom.

Some people know so much that they are doing nothing with their knowledge, and are counted among the weak. Act upon the knowledge you have received from God (Daniel 11:32). Give yourself to more study to gain more insight. Go in the power of this might, place your challenges with confidence in His presence, and He will join you in your battle. You are created strong. Fuel your strength with God’s knowledge, then you will be free (John 8:32; Daniel 11:32). Then you will be able to carry out great exploits.

Prayer: Lord, I am rising to shine in your name.

“NOTHING  IN YOUR LIFE WILL RISE UP UNTIL YOU RISE UP”
