A SAVIOUR Matthew 1:18-25  Devotional:- “...for He will save His people from their sins”. (V. 21) Due to the multiplication of man, the increase and enlargement of needs, life is almost becoming a tragedy for the human race. It is becoming complicated for the government to successfully govern the people. Diseases and strange kinds of sickness are increasingly multiplying. Human and science solution is becoming unpromising to the challenges of life. The technologies men have built have become a trap and an unpredictable time bomb. The devices of wickedness in the hearts of men are becoming unbelievable. The relationship between people that made life bearable in the past is sacrificed for safety, so loneliness, one of the greatest enemies of man, is being joyfully embraced. And living is becoming a mixture ofjoy and sorrow. Yet in the midst of all of these, there is a way out to anyone who will embrace it. God has given us Jesus Christ as our Saviour. WAITING ON THE LORD

WAITING ON THE LORD

Luke 2:21-33
Devotional:- “And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him” (V. 25) NKJV

One of the acts of faith that moves God is our ability to wait on Him. The faith is, since God made the promise; I must wait to see the fulfillment. I discover that there is a power that can stop death and that is faith (Hebrews 11:33-35). Man has not fully understood that he determines his lot on earth. Whether to die or to live is your choice no matter the situation (Deuteronomy 30:19). So, you can wait for as long as you desire to see God’s glory.

The man we read about today was an old man named Simeon. God promised that he would see the Messiah and he waited based on this promise until it was fulfilled. Job said I refuse to die until I see my change (Job 14:14). David said I shall not die but live to witness His testimony (Psalm 118:17).

Friend, don’t let life drive you to the destruction of death of any kind. Wait upon the promises of God for your life, family or business. The moment you assume the state of waiting on God’s word in your mind, all destruction shall be suspended and the strength of your health, career, studies, and business shall be renewed (Isaiah 40:31). When you learn the mystery of waiting on the Lord, you have learned the mysteries of becoming younger as though you are starting afresh. No matter what the case may be, never give up, wait on the Lord and death shall be suspended from your life.

Declaration: I will wait till I see my change.

“DON’T LET YOUR THOUGHT TRICK YOU INTO CONCLUSION, NEVER GIVE UP”
