  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Daniel 11:31-35
Devotional:-  “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (V.32) NKJV

      In this world of temptation and tribulation, those who know Him still wonderfully demonstrate God’s power. The time we are in is strange. Many people, families, businesses, or ministries are been defeated; yet at this same time, some people are doing great things. The difference is their knowledge of God.

In the scripture we read is the prophecy about the end time. It talks about the cancellation of the daily sacrifices by the children of Israel. It also mentioned the challenges children of God will face and that is happening now. But people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.

Friend, your being faced with some challenges now has been prophesied a long time ago and also added to it is the solution. You need to equip your spirit in God and this is by seeking to know Him through His words. This is connecting to the strength of God through the revelation of His word by meditation. When you contact the truth, you contact power (John 8:32). When you search for Him with all your heart, He will jump out of His word to your heart. Go for Him, search Him through meditating on His word and He will reveal Himself to you.

Prayer: Lord, reveal your power in my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
