  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. EXPECTATION

Acts 3:1-10
Devotional:- “So he gave them his attention expecting to receive something from them” (V.5).

    God the creator of heaven and earth has great expectations concerning all his creation (Jeremiah 29:11). But what determines an individual’s portion on earth is your expectations. Most people expect failure and disappointment; they cannot see themselves as competent enough for greatness in life. They see themselves as unqualified for the realm of glory, but they never know that they are victims of their expectations.

We often think that we are only sincere in expecting negative. This is because we have a wrong (unbiblical) view of ourselves and base our hope on our experience and not on God’s promises. As a result, we keep having what we are expecting. That man we read about today expected to receive something from the disciples and he received his miracle.

Friend, what do you expect of your life? Stop being ignorantly sincere; your negative sincerity of yourself is of the devil. Whatever is contrary to God’s word about you is not of God, so drop them. God’s word says you are born to reign (Psalm 8:6). God’s word says you are an overcomer (1 John 5:4). God’s word says you are able in Christ (Philippians 4:13). Start expecting according to His word and you will soon leap for joy. Your situation will work out miraculously and you will become an amazement. Your light has come.

PRAYER: Lord, give me a heart of great expectation of what will produce my great destiny.

“LIFE WILL ONLY BE UNTO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
