FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD

FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Romans 5:1-11 Devotional:- “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (V. 10)  As a kingdom citizen please known that God wants to be your best friend. This is because intimacy is part of your act of worship. It is true that God is our maker and redeemer yet he wants to be our friend. Remember we were made to live continually in God’s presence but it is sin that makes us loose that (Gen 3, Roman 3:23)  In our scripture for today we saw that it was grace through the sacrifice of the cross that gives us access to friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Our friendship with God does not mean casual acquaintance but close and trusted relationships just like the best man in a wedding. In the palace the servant must keep their distance from the king but there are some people in circle of intimate and trusted friends with the king. They enjoy free an...

WORD POWER

WORD POWER

Luke 1:26-38
Devotional:- "For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment (V.37) AMPL

Most people do not know how powerful the word of God is. People tend to see the bible as a book of stories of events. They had never experienced the power of God through His word. They lack the understanding that the Word has been God’s instrument for creation. They do not know that Jesus Christ is the word Himself (John 1:14).

The scripture we read today is a narration about Mary and the angel sent to her by God. Mary could not comprehend the possibility of the word spoken by the angel and so she asked how shall this thing be? And the angel told her this mystery and that, there shall be no word from God without power. In another version, it says with God nothing shall be impossible.

Friend, you need to know that every word from God carries tremendous power (Hebrews 4:12). See, information is the vehicle through which the spirit moves from person to person (Ezekiel 2:2, John 6:63). So when you open up your heart for the word of God as you meditate, the spirit and the fire of God is increasing in you (John 10:35). This is faith transmitted to you. That makes you capable of manifesting the word (Isaiah 55:10-11). Always meditate on God’s word, it will bring your deliverance and deliver your portions to you on the earth. It’s your day!

Prayer: Lord, let the Spirit of the word always be released into me for my faith.

“WHEN GOD SPEAKS, CAPACITY IS INCREASED FOR MANIFESTATION”
