REGULAR
MEAL
Luke 4:1-4
Devotional:-“But
Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God.'" (V. 4) NKJV
Physically,
what a man regularly feeds on will always determine his fitness. So it is in
all areas of our life. Most of us have not come to the awareness of the fact
that, what we feed our spirit with will always determine our strengths or weaknesses.
That is why God’s word warned us to be careful of what we listen to (Mark 4:24).
Unfortunately,
most information around us is very destructive to our being and we often
joyfully take them. We easily pay more attention to negative information than
the positive. We even organize to watch bad films not knowing the evil implications
of it our future.
But
if anyone wants to be strong in life, such must also grow in the spirit to
produce the strength of faith for victory on the day of challenges. You should regularly
create time to read and meditate on the Word and other books that feed you
positively. “Faith comes”, that is strength comes, ability comes, action for
result comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And again, love to
always be in the church to hear the word. Study about it and your victory will
be guaranteed.
Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for your word.
