  FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Romans 5:1-11 Devotional:- “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (V. 10)  As a kingdom citizen please known that God wants to be your best friend. This is because intimacy is part of your act of worship. It is true that God is our maker and redeemer yet he wants to be our friend. Remember we were made to live continually in God’s presence but it is sin that makes us loose that (Gen 3, Roman 3:23)  In our scripture for today we saw that it was grace through the sacrifice of the cross that gives us access to friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Our friendship with God does not mean casual acquaintance but close and trusted relationships just like the best man in a wedding. REGULAR MEAL

Luke 4:1-4
Devotional:-“But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live  by bread alone, but by every word of God.'" (V. 4) NKJV

    Physically, what a man regularly feeds on will always determine his fitness. So it is in all areas of our life. Most of us have not come to the awareness of the fact that, what we feed our spirit with will always determine our strengths or weaknesses. That is why God’s word warned us to be careful of what we listen to (Mark 4:24).

Unfortunately, most information around us is very destructive to our being and we often joyfully take them. We easily pay more attention to negative information than the positive. We even organize to watch bad films not knowing the evil implications of it our future.

But if anyone wants to be strong in life, such must also grow in the spirit to produce the strength of faith for victory on the day of challenges. You should regularly create time to read and meditate on the Word and other books that feed you positively. “Faith comes”, that is strength comes, ability comes, action for result comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And again, love to always be in the church to hear the word. Study about it and your victory will be guaranteed.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
