  NEVER BREAK YOU 1 Corinthians 10:6-13  Devotional:- “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it“ (V. 13) NKJV When some people go through challenges today, it looks as if the end has come. And sometimes we think, it is going to be forever. But God’s love is revealed to us even in our challenges. His help and strength are always available to us, even in our most difficult situations. He has promised never to leave us alone. He is right there with you in your challenges. And that is why you cannot be swallowed nor destroyed, even by any situation you may be facing right now. The scripture we read today says, God will not watch us fall into any pit of trouble above what we can come out from. That means, He is looking at you in that situation, He knows your shame. OBEDIENCE

Luke 5:1-10
Devotional:- “But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." (V.5) NKJV

    If we are going to see the great power of God at work in our lives? If we are going to become a point of reference to the mighty works of God? If we will become God’s vessel to turn the world around for God? then we must embrace obedience to God’s instruction. Often time when God speaks to us, our mind queries His instruction. Divine instructions may not look reasonable but they are powerful.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus used Peter’s ship to minister to people and after the ministration, He asked him to launch his net to the deep for fishes. This is because God will not owe anyone his reward for service. But Peter complained of how long they’ve been toiling without result. He was only willing to do it to satisfy Jesus but, in the course, he experienced a miracle.

Friend, why don’t you take to the instruction of God concerning your situation by faith? You need to stop hardening your heart against His instructions (Job 9:4). The ways of God is different from our ways (Isaiah 55:8 -11). The wise will be humble to obey always (Matthew 7:24). What is He asking you to do for His kingdom or His servants? What is He asking you to do concerning your business and studies? Go ahead and please the Lord. Then you will see the tremendous power of God for breakthroughs.

Prayer: Lord, grant me grace to obey you.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
