  JOY BEAUTIFIES Proverbs 15:10-20 Devotional:- “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit” (v.13) NLT It is important that people in this generation realise that joy is one of the secrets of beauty. There is no one who does not love to look beautiful in life; people do so much to preserve their beauty. The truth is that it charms the heart of men. It is a strength for influence. It is a language that both men and women understand. Someone who lacks beauty may also be lacking in the school of favour. Don’t let anyone deceive you that it is not necessary to be beautiful. In this world, the way you look determines the way you will be treated (1 Samuel 16:7). We only need to identify true and godly beauty. God’s word says, “Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:30) AMPC. OBEDIENCE

Luke 5:1-10
Devotional:- “But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." (V.5) NKJV

    If we are going to see the great power of God at work in our lives? If we are going to become a point of reference to the mighty works of God? If we will become God’s vessel to turn the world around for God? then we must embrace obedience to God’s instruction. Often time when God speaks to us, our mind queries His instruction. Divine instructions may not look reasonable but they are powerful.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus used Peter’s ship to minister to people and after the ministration, He asked him to launch his net to the deep for fishes. This is because God will not owe anyone his reward for service. But Peter complained of how long they’ve been toiling without result. He was only willing to do it to satisfy Jesus but, in the course, he experienced a miracle.

Friend, why don’t you take to the instruction of God concerning your situation by faith? You need to stop hardening your heart against His instructions (Job 9:4). The ways of God is different from our ways (Isaiah 55:8 -11). The wise will be humble to obey always (Matthew 7:24). What is He asking you to do for His kingdom or His servants? What is He asking you to do concerning your business and studies? Go ahead and please the Lord. Then you will see the tremendous power of God for breakthroughs.

Prayer: Lord, grant me grace to obey you.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
