  EYES HAVE NOT SEEN I Corinthians 2:6-16 Devotional:- “But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."” (V. 9) NKJV Notwithstanding the experiences of people in the world today, God’s promises concerning His children remain valid. That is why you must not allow what you are going through to make you look down on the word of God. Our scripture today simply means that God will yet do in your life things that will embarrass the world. Your current state cannot be compared with your coming glory (Romans 8:18). That is why you must not give up your hope in Christ. Refuse to be a victim of your situation. All you need to do is learn the way of God’s wisdom, which is superior to that of the world. OBEDIENCE

Luke 5:1-10
Devotional:- “But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." (V.5) NKJV

    If we are going to see the great power of God at work in our lives? If we are going to become a point of reference to the mighty works of God? If we will become God’s vessel to turn the world around for God? then we must embrace obedience to God’s instruction. Often time when God speaks to us, our mind queries His instruction. Divine instructions may not look reasonable but they are powerful.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus used Peter’s ship to minister to people and after the ministration, He asked him to launch his net to the deep for fishes. This is because God will not owe anyone his reward for service. But Peter complained of how long they’ve been toiling without result. He was only willing to do it to satisfy Jesus but, in the course, he experienced a miracle.

Friend, why don’t you take to the instruction of God concerning your situation by faith? You need to stop hardening your heart against His instructions (Job 9:4). The ways of God is different from our ways (Isaiah 55:8 -11). The wise will be humble to obey always (Matthew 7:24). What is He asking you to do for His kingdom or His servants? What is He asking you to do concerning your business and studies? Go ahead and please the Lord. Then you will see the tremendous power of God for breakthroughs.

Prayer: Lord, grant me grace to obey you.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
