WHAT IS OPPORTUNITY?   Ephesians 5:8-21 Devotional:- “making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil” (V.16) AMP . 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional WHAT IS OPPORTUNITY? Support Us Ephesians 5:8-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Opportunities are privileges created around us by God for our advantage. They often come as an answer to our prayers. That is why many believers miss the answers God often gives through opportunities. When we have finished praying, we should just position ourselves rightly to watch out for the opportunities (2 Chronicles 20:17) . When the children of Israel asked for meat, God brought birds around them (Exodus 16:11-13) . They are the ones who still have t...

SURE FOUNDATION

II Peter 1:16-21
Devotional:- “We have also a more sure word of prophecy: whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place...” (V. 19) KJV

Faith will not yet be faith until it finds a strong substance of assurance in the heart of a man. Faith is truly an action but depending on the certainty. In other words, the more certain a promise is to you, the stronger your faith will be. No one will have a certain or sure word that will not believe, I love to let you know that God’s word is the surest foundation on which you can bet your life.

The scripture we read today says, “We have also a sure word of prophesy...” The weight of a man’s promise is determined by the measure of his faithfulness and He is a faithful God (1 Thessalonians 5:24). This has been proved from generation to generation. If His promises are not coming to pass in your life, then you must have doubted His word (James 1:6-8).

He was faithful to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He cannot fail you if you put your total trust in His word. No matter how tough the situation may be, as you rest on His sure word to the end, He will turn them into testimonies and you will see the glory of God.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to depend totally on your word.

“SURE RESULT IS ONLY GUARANTEED WHEN BUILT ON GOD’S SURE WORD”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
